About Voyaging Vanessa
Hi! I am Vanessa and I started this site because I wanted to explore our beautiful planet on my own terms.
My travel lust began in high school and kicked into over drive on my first solo trip abroad as a college graduation gift, to myself. Haha! I was enamored with the way solo travel opened up my mind and soul, re-introducing a curiosity I grew to believe only existed in children.
Over 27 countries later my journeys continue to take in as much of this incredible planet as I can. I’m not trying to be the quickest, the youngest, or oldest to anywhere around the world. I’m just going, and I hope to inpisre you to hop in for the ride too!
